ART OF DISAGREEMENT

From Conflict to Connection

Relationally intelligent couples know how to navigate conflict and strengthen trust through constructive communication.

Couple conflicts aren't necessarily unhealthy. In fact, fighting is an attempt to restore the bond between a couple. Studies show that it is not WHAT couples fight about but HOW they fight that threatens a marriage.

Join us for this one-day workshop to discover the art of disgreement, and how to reconnect with your spouse through the heated moments of life.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Understanding the underlying narratives that lead to conflicts.

  2. Insights into the way we fight that damages the relationship.

  3. The real problem and consequences of unresolved conflicts on the marriage.

  4. Insights into our own personality and couple dynamics that contribute to conflict.

  5. Critical skills needed to resolve conflicts to build emotional connection with our partner.

The most meaningful part was time set aside to talk about things that bother us and affirm one another in what we are doing right. Learning to talk about disagreements in a more constructive way helped me see that very often problems come about not because of the spouse, but how we frame the issue.
